The Jammie Biscuit is a classic, buttery shortbread-style biscuit featuring a sweet dollop of strawberry jam nestled in the middle. It's made soft and fluffy with self-raising flour and given a lovely golden crust with a touch of caster sugar.
Did you know, Burton’s created the “Jammie Dodger” in the 1960s - they gave them this name because after the comic character Roger the Dodger from The Beano, a popular comic character known for dodging chores and homework in The Beano, a classic British comic.
