It was incredibly exciting to be invited to the Jamie Oliver head office in London in October '25, to talk to the other award winners doing some inspiring things around school dinners in schools across the country, and to talk to Government ministers with responsibility for Early Years, schools and school food.

The purpose of the day was to give our view of the School Food Standards which the Jamie Oliver team are campaigning to improve. A group of last years Arrows, 3 of whom are now at high  school, went along to take part and share their views as the young people who experience school dinners daily.

It was a great day to feel inspired about what's possible. We had a "school dinner" cooked in the development kitchen in the heart of the  offices by a top chef - and Jamie himself came to chat to us over lunch!
