Crispy fish fingers served with yummy oven baked chips. It's a classic kid-friendly meal! Did you know that fish fingers were invented to make it easier for people to eat fish? Birds Eye called them Fish Fingers after their name was voted for by staff in their factory. In America and Canada they are called fish sticks.
Traditionally fish is eaten on a Friday, and it comes from a Catholic custom that asked people not to eat meat on Fridays. However if you are vegetarian you would choose not to eat fish or meat on any day - and will tuck into our Vegetable Fingers instead!
